At the moment: building and leading teams of creatives and technologists improving the Duolingo Design Department's approach to systems, automation tools & AI.
Developing scalable systems and taxonomies that bring order to all kinds of chaos, like being the first to articulate and help solve the delta between all the ways product UI represented how Meta's apps share information—and the legal reality.
Managing high-stakes initiatives that require careful navigation of regulatory requirements and diverse stakeholder needs, like leading UX for Instagram's GDPR implementation for hundreds of millions of users.
Breaking down technical complexity into clear frameworks that everyone can understand and use: one of my favorites? Developing our approach and standards for naming Instagram's filters.
